Dubai WoodShow (DWS), the leading platform for wood and woodworking machinery in the Middle East, is gearing up for a revamp with more features, and with a special focus on small and medium enterprises in the wood industry.
The 15th edition of the event that connects exhibitors and buyers from across the globe, and the only dedicated wood trade show in the region, will be held at Dubai World Trade Centre on 16-18 March 2020 in conjunction with Dubai International Furniture Accessories and Components and Semi-Finished Products.
“Dubai WoodShow has reached a milestone of completing 15 years in the regional wood and woodworking machinery industry and has gained a global attention of being the most reliable platform for traders, exhibitors as well as buyers. The upcoming edition opens up a wide range of trade and investment opportunities as the global wooden furniture market is projected to witness over 6 per cent compound annual growth by 2025,” according to Dawood Al Shezawi, President of the Committee of WoodShow Global.
The four new features of the upcoming event, that targets exhibitors, investors, traders and general public, include Business Networking Lounge, Hosted Buyer Programme, Product Innovation Zone and Country of Honour.
The revamped WoodShow will have an interactive mobile app for the visitors to check all the exhibitors and fix professional B2B meetings before the show, ensuring participants access to more than 10,000 elite trade professionals from the MENA region and beyond, and helping them to get connected with key visitors from the wood industry having purchasing authority. Onsite business deals with genuine buyers, brand recognition and promotion through an intense regional and international marketing campaign are the other benefits the event offers its participants.
