What comes first when writing: the concept, the character, or the plot twist?
Always, the character drives the action, redirects it, and breaks it. Still, I aim to raise human questions. In Gene, I leave the reader wondering: “How does generational violence affect the path to crime?” As for Nimr, a multi-part series, I began with a crime thread rooted in the dark web, what’s coming is even more complex and expansive.
Why did you choose the pocket novel format for Senshi?
Because I believe in reviving the trend of pocket novels, Senshi is compact, sharp, and carries the impact of a bullet, just like an escape from screen overload.
How do your book covers interact with your storytelling?
The cover doesn’t explain the story, it winks at the reader to open the first page.
