You’re the founder of eYs Global Vanguard and Executive Chair of IVEA — what inspired you to create these powerful platforms?
I created these platforms not from ambition but necessity. I saw a void in systems that honoured truth and lasting leadership, so I built sovereign structures that wouldn’t dilute integrity. eYs Global Vanguard is a full ecosystem for legacy media, publishing, and policy influence, while IVEA provides a structural seat at the table for voices meant to lead globally. These weren’t initiatives-they were inevitabilities.
How do you approach building strategic frameworks that are designed for the world’s next iteration?
I start in silence, not noise. I don’t fix what’s broken, replace what’s expired. Strategy must withstand time, not just trends. I use foresight and ethical structure to create systems that work even when no one is watching, built to last, not to impress.
As both an Australian leader and a proud Macedonian changemaker, how has your cultural duality influenced your mission?
It’s not duality, it’s an advantage. My Macedonian heritage grounds me in resilience, my Australian context sharpens my strategy. I see patterns across cultures and time. I don’t lead through one lens, and I lead from a layered legacy, and that’s what gives me credibility in every room.
You’ve advised governments and sovereign councils — what qualities make a leader or nation legacy-driven in your eyes?
Legacy leaders build beyond themselves, often for outcomes they’ll never see. They lead with humility and purpose, not applause. Likewise, legacy nations focus on justice, policy continuity, and intergenerational well-being. If something collapses without its creator, it was a performance, not a legacy.
What role does storytelling play in foreign policy, diplomacy, and institutional legacy?
Storytelling is strategic architecture. In diplomacy, data informs, but story persuades. Nations are remembered by their narrative, not just their policy. Story protects legacy, commands influence, and ensures institutions are not just operational, but memorable. I write to anchor truth, not perform.
What advice do you give to women striving to lead in male-dominated fields like international governance and diplomacy?
Stop fitting in, start leading as yourself. These spaces weren’t built for us, so we must build within them with conviction and evidence. Don’t soften your power-sharpen your presence. Leadership doesn’t require permission, it requires presence, principle, and refusal to compromise.
You’re an award-winning author how does writing intersect with your professional work in global strategy?
Writing is the foundation of everything I lead. It clarifies vision, distils complexity, and preserves impact. From publishing policy, language is my architecture. I don’t write to impress; I write to create frameworks that endure and legacies that are remembered.
How do you ensure your platforms go beyond influence and establish lasting direction?
I build systems, not trends. Influence fades, but direction is structural. Every platform under EYS Global Vanguard is built with governance and continuity. If it doesn’t change how people lead or make decisions, it’s not a distraction, and I build only for permanence.
What does leadership through discretion look like in an age of visibility and noise?
Discretion is not silence, it’s mastery. I lead through presence, not performance. In a world chasing visibility, I use restraint to protect integrity and mission clarity. I don’t lead to be seen. I lead to create direction that stands long after the noise fades.
What values do you hope to pass on to your sons as they watch you lead on the world stage?
Power must serve principle, and legacy must uplift. My sons have witnessed leadership through sacrifice, not performance. I want them to protect women’s worth without condition and to lead with quiet integrity. Their choices will shape the world Azalia inherits-and that’s legacy in action.
