About the Author
Hannah-Jade Keppler was a 12-year-old homeschooled writer, singer, composer and actress. Her first endeavour in the writing world was authoring a full musical at the age of 9. She wrote the script, four original songs and all incidental music. ‘Fantasy Land’ went on to tour Perth and the South-West region and garnered a Youth fest ‘Best Original Script’ award for Hannah-Jade at years of age. Hannah-Jade runs Slushie School Writers Group – a group of 6 children who write and act in the web series, ‘Rainbow Unicorn Slushie School’. Hannah Toured shires performing a pantomime Peli the Pelican. She has also written and performed songs that have been picked up as theme songs for a web series. She is the youngest Board member of the New City Theatre and directed and acted in ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ for them, winning Best Actress at Youth fest 2019 for her portrayal of Puck. She has also been a finalist for the 7News West Australian Young Achievers Awards.
Bio On Hannah Jade Keppler
Hannah Jade Keppler, is a Perth-based artist, raised in a multi- cultural family and It was where she began her acting career at six and has steadily gained recognition for her emotionally rich blend of pop and indie folk, influenced by Gilbert and Sullivan.
By the age of twelve, she became a nationally recognized author with her sold-out book, “The Super Diary of Delilah Darkleen.” She has toured shires around Western Australia, with a pantomime from a children’s book Peli the Pelican by Kez Wickham St George. Plus, creating other musicals from her childhood stories, promoting confidence and creativity among the very young and teenagers.
Hannah’s background in classical theatre and musical performance has shone through, giving her work a storytelling quality that is engaging and heartfelt.
2024. Hannah composed the entire musical score of Romeo & Juliette and served as the musical director; it was here that her multi-talented repertoire and deep commitment to the arts came to life.
2025. Hannah received a Perth University grant to study operatic theatre in Germany, aiming to further enrich her musical career.
Hannah has a positive attitude, “if she can do it, then so can you” and with that in mind
2026. Hannah Jade, now at the age of 21, has not only created a popular young singer’s workshop, that is growing day by day. But another theatrical production is in the pipeline, and perhaps another book is in the pipeline.
